Hi, I’m Maddie
I’m a firm believer that sweet things make life infinitely better. When it comes to baking, my style is classic with a twist. I want what comes out of your and my kitchen to be downright delicious, with an element you didn’t think about before. Almond croissant blondies? For sure. Key lime pie with a Teddy Graham crust? Yes, please.
I’ve been fascinated with baking since I was a toddler, sitting on the kitchen counter ritualistically helping my mom make Saturday morning pancakes and watching my grandpa bake bread during the cool NY Adirondack summers.
I’m a self (and mom)-taught baker, obsessed with understanding the how behind a baked good and working on new techniques and recipes until they’re fool-proof (and sharing these tips with you!).
I’m 28 and I live in Brooklyn with my fiancée Michaela and — in lieu of a dog — an ever-growing number of plants and a needy sourdough starter.
Thanks for letting me into your kitchen — let’s get baking!
